Dele Adebola is the latest player to have shown his support for Adrian Heath to become the next full-time Coventry City manager. "We are improving and I think the rest of the players would say the same because he has got us playing a style of football that suits more people than not, so fingers crossed we can get him the job," said the striker to the CT.

"If I was in charge I would say the improvement is enough to get him the job but I don't know what the criteria is they are looking for, but from a playing point of view a lot of players are enjoying it now. "We know what we are doing now.

"I am not saying we didn't before but it is a lot clearer in our attacking play. "If we can keep performing like that then Adrian would be first choice in my view, but I am not the person making the choice."

The committee set up to appoint a new manager which scandalously includes President Mike McGinnity who in his wisdom appointed Peter Reid and sacked Eric Black, will start interviewing candidates this week for the job with the appointment expected in a couple of weeks.
