The Dedicated bus service set up by the Sky Blue Trust is working. Close to 500 City supporters used the service to travel to the opening home game against Queens Park Rangers from various parts of Coventry as well as Bedworth, Leamington and Rugby.

"We had delivered what we set out to deliver, " said the Sky Blue Trust's Transport Director Lionel Bird. "Although,we have only had two games , the scheme is growing with supporters from Kenilworth looking to put on another coach as are others."

According to figures supplied, travelling by bus does seem a popular and affordable way of getting to the Arena. Two thousand City fans used buses supplied by De Courcey whilst one thousand used the 101 Travel Coventry bus service from Pool Meadow. Coventry City London Supporters Club are also running their own bus from Nuneaton station to ferry members to the Arena who arrive by train from London.
