The Dean Of Coventry, the Very Reverend John Wilcombe can take a lot of credit in helping to bring about a deal which sees Coventry City coming back to the Ricoh Arena next month.

The Dean held prayers with SISU boss Joy Seppala, a person who has a strong religious faith, and then organised a meal at which representatives from Arena Coventry Limited amongst others attend.

This eventually led to full talks and the lawyers agreeing a two year deal to bring City home.

Speaking about this to the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter, the Dean said: We are delighted to have been able to play a part in bringing the different parties in the dispute over the football club together, after these difficult months," he said.

"Credit must go to all those involved for their commitment to finding a way forward, and we pray for a great year ahead and massive support from across the city for the club as we celebrate the return of the Sky Blues to the Ricoh, and to the city."
