"The gaffer didn't want me to take a risk with my hamstring because it was a bit tight but I'm really looking forward to the game against Preston," said Dann to the club website.
"We've had a lot of games recently and you enjoy games when they come around but you can get a bit tired so hopefully we can have a little bit of a rest after the game on Saturday.
"All the lads know we have to put the recent run of results right on Saturday and get ourselves going again in the league."
