It has been reported in the New Zealand press that 17 year old Jason Walker has been offered trial with Coventry City and West Bromwich Albion.
The New Zealand newspaper The Daily Post has said that Walker and fellow New Zealander Gavin Gilbert, both from Rotorua on the North Island, are in the UK having trials. Gilbert is heading to Scotland for a trial with Kilmarnock.
Walker told The Daily Post, "It's everything I've wanted, I'm very excited. I'm quietly confident but I don't want to get my hopes up. I've been training really hard."
