Coventry Can Win It - Steele

Former Coventry City goalkeeper Luke Steele believes that City can beat Chelsea today in the FA Cup.

Steele was in the West Brom side which knocked out Chelsea last season and told the CT: "I think Coventry are playing well at the moment and have a good chance, but I think you need a bit of luck on the day.

"You need a good strong keeper in goal and I think Coventry have got that with Westwood, who is a great young goalie.

"The Liverpool game in the fifth round was the biggest game for me because I have never had a game like it. I was so busy and it was just my day, pulling off saves here, there and everywhere.

"Keiren will have the right mentality for the occasion and I am sure he will be fine. "The important thing is that Coventry don't concede an early goal, and this type of match is certainly the sort to make a hero out of a goalkeeper.

"We believed we could beat Chelsea and I am sure the Coventry players will think the same way. I really hope they do it. Being a former player I will be rooting for them because it would be brilliant to see."

After being knocking out by a Championship side at the same stage of the competition last season, there are concerns that Chelsea won't make the same mistake again. "That's the thing that worries me," Steeler added. "They won't want to go out again. They are not stupid and they will be well up for the game, make no mistake.

"They gave it all last season and it is up to Coventry to match that, and hopefully they will come through it."
