In the Southern League,Rugby Town drew 2-2 at Grantham but Bedworth were beaten 3-1 at Willenhall Town.
It was local derby time in the Midland Alliance with Racing Club Warwick beating Stratford Town 3-1 at Townsend Meadow but Leamington were beaten 3-1 at Studley.
It was honours even in the Midland Combination Premier Division with the top side Atherstone Town drawing 2-2 with second placed Coventry Sphinx. Coventry Copsewood beat Castle Vale 2-1 but Massey Ferguson were beaten 4-0 at home to Nuneaton Griff. Southam United drew 0-0 with Alveston.
In the first division, Stockingford faired the best of our local sides drawing 2-2 at Polesworth. Kenilworth Town were stuffed 4-0 at Ettington, whilst Leamington Hibernian lost 4-2 at Heather Athletic. In Division Two,Warwick Town drew 2-2 at Coton Green.
