Cov City Girls were left to rue not putting away their chances after going out or the SSE Women's FA Cup following a 3-1 defeat to Stone Dominoes at Coventry Sphinx FC.
Cov started well but against the run of play conceded a goal in the 26th minute.
After Kalleigh Pahnke had crashed a header off the bar and Cov had a shot cleared off the line, Stone broke and scored a second goal in the 56th minute before breaking again to score a third five minutes later.
Megan White pulled a goal back in the 88th minute but Cov were beaten and out of the FA Cup for another year.
