Morrison has made 36 appearances for Ireland, scoring nine goals but has been left out of the side for a number of years.
Currently, he is the leading scorer in the Championship with six goals and with Caleb Folan being injured, there have been calls for his inclusion in the squad to face Italy and Montenegro next month.
