Clingan Left Out Of Northern Ireland Victory

Coventry City midfielder Sammy Clingan must be getting used to being left out this season.



The midfielder has only started once for City this season and tonight was left out of the starting line up of Northern Ireland's Euro 2012 Qualifier in Maribor, Slovenia by manager Nigel Worthington.

In the 69th minute against Slovenia who were in England's World Cup group, Corry Evans who had just come on, scored with his first touch to give Northern Ireland the win.

Former Coventry City keeper Jonny Tuffey (pictured below) was an unused substitute.



Northern Ireland's next international is against Italy at Windsor Park on Friday October 8th.
