City Won't Get Sucked In - Turner

Coventry City defender Ben Turner has said that the Sky Blues will not get sucked into a relegation dog-fight.

City are 15th in the table with 47 points, some nine points clear of the bottom three and need at least three more wins to ensure safety for another season.

"I don't think we need to start looking over our shoulders," said Turner to the CT.

"We have got nine games left and we have probably got enough points already, so we don't need to worry about relegation and all that.

"I think we are a good enough side to finish with more wins than defeats, definitely, and if you do that you are a top half side and then we can look to go for the play-offs next season.

"We have 27 points left to play for and I still think we can end the season with more wins than losses. It is going to be very difficult to get to the play-offs this season but all the lads have got to roll our sleeves up and have a positive end to the season.

"No-one wants to go off in the summer thinking we have finished in the bottom half, so if we can finish top half will be a massive improvement from just surviving relegation last season."
