Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that Burnley player Kieran Trippier admiited after the 1-1 draw that the Sky Blues should have had a goal.

City were denied a goal when Richard Keogh's header was clearly seen by the City support behind the goal at Turf Moor to have crossed the line but the referee and his assistant on the stand to the City's supporters left were having none of it and waved play on.

Speaking to the CT's Alan Poole, an angry Thorn said: "I couldn't see from where I was but Trippier admitted to me afterwards that the ball was a foot and a half over the line.

"It's hard when those kind of decisions keep going against you but then we never do things the easy way at Coventry do we?"
