City Up To 17th

Coventry City's second half recovery which led to a 5-1 victory at Colchester United has moved them up the table to 17th.

Sheffield Wednesday who lost 2-1 at Blackpool (Claus Jorgensen scored the opening goal for the Tangerines), now occupy the bottom three place which City had for thirty minutes or so before Leon Best levelled for City.

Leicester who were in the bottom three at the start of play, moved up the table to 20th with an Iain Hume goal giving them a 1-0 victory at Barnsley, who dropped to 19th.

Southampton lost 1-0 at home to Burnley and are in 21st place with fifty points. Norwich are down to 18th after losing 2-1 to leaders West Bromwich Albion.

Stoke are now second after a 2-1 win against Bristol City for whom Dele Adebola scored.

Third place Hull lost 2-0 at Sheffield United whilst Crystal Palace caught ground on play-off rivals Watford with a 2-0 win at Vicarage Road.

Wolves have little chance of making the play-offs after being held 1-1 by Ipswich. Charlton have even less chance after a 1-0 defeat at QPR.

Elsewhere in the division, Scunthorpe beat Cardiff 3-2, Plymouth drew 2-2 with Preston.

Swansea City are champions of League One despite a 2-1 defeat by Yeovil and thanks to Carlisle losing 2-1 at home to Southend. Gary McAllister's Leeds won 2-0 at Millwall.

In League Two,MK Dons are promoted after a 3-2 win at Stockport.
