City Up Three Places

Coventry City are up to 11th in the table after the 1-0 win over Colchester United.

Watford who play Palace on Monday are three points clear at the top of the Championship table after Bristol City's 1-0 win at home to Stoke.

Stern John scored for Southampton in a 3-2 win at Burnley whilst QPR are off the bottom after a 1-0 win at Charlton. There were wins for Ipswich,Leicester, Preston,Sheffield Wednesday and West Brom who beat Norwich. The Canaries are now bottom of the table.

In League One, two former City team mates who are now managers met. Dennis Wise came out the victor as his Leeds team beat Richard Shaw's Millwall 4-2 at Elland Road. Baz Savage scored the winner for Brighton in a 2-1 win at Hartlepool.

Andy Gooding who is at Burton Albion for a third month came on as sub in a 2-1 FA Cup win against Tamworth.
