Both City and Preston have to field six of the team that played in their last league game and City boss Mark Robins expects to field most of the team that played against Shrewsbury Town on New Years Day.

Leon Clarke, having completed his move from Charlton on Monday, is expected to start.

According to the Coventry Telegraph, Blair Adams is out and the defender City are trying to sign on a permanent deal could be replaced by Jordan Clarke.

Preston are without Mousinho, Holmes, Keane and Trundle but could include new striker Joe Garner who has joined after being released by Watford.
