Coventry City are to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the E-Type Jaguar before the home game against Watford on Saturday April 2nd.

Around fifty cars will be on display in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall from 11am until 6.30pm along with their owners.

"This year marks the 50th anniversary of the E-Type and we couldn't let the occasion pass without celebrating in Coventry. The event at the Ricoh Arena is a wonderful opportunity for people to see the E-Type in the flesh and with 50 beautiful cars expected to be there, it will be a real treat," said Geoff Cousins, Managing Director, Jaguar UK to the CCFC Website.

"Throughout the 60s and 70s, the E-Type was the car to be seen in. Football legend George Best was an E-Type owner, along with Brigitte Bardot, Tony Curtis and Steve McQueen."
