Coventry City have confirmed that nine thousand tickets exactly were sold for the FA Cup Third Round tie between the Sky Blues and Southampton.
City, along with a number of clubs, count the number of tickets sold as an attendance figure rather than the actual number of people physically in the Ricoh Arena.
