Coventry City remain in twelfth place in the League One table after their 1-1 draw against Oldham Athletic.
City are now halfway through their forty six game league programme and have 29 points from 23 matches. Had they not been deducted ten points by the Football League, whose Chairman Greg Clarke was at Sixfields today, City would be in the top six, a point clear of Rotherham United who lost 2-0 at Port Vale.
Brentford are now the divisional leaders after capitalising on Wolves drawing 1-1 with Leyton Orient and beating MK Dons 3-1.
Preston stay in fourth with a 1-0 win at Shrewsbury whilst Peterborough who lost 2-1 at Carlisle are fifth.
City are seven points clear of the relegation zone which sees Bristol City who beat second from bottom Stevenage 4-1 in 21st place, ahead of Crewe who won 2-1 at Colchester United and bottom side Notts County who lost 1-0 at Crawley.
Eighth placed Swindon drew 1-1 at Bradford City and Gillingham drew 2-2 with Walsall
