City Sign Dimi

Coventry City have signed Dimitrious Konstantopoulos from Hartlepool United on a free transfer.

The 28 year old Greek keeper will join City on a three year deal starting on July 1st. Dimi,as he is known by Pools fans played his part in Hartlepool's promotion keeping twenty five clean sheets.

Said Iain Dowie to the club website: "He has played all of Hartlepool's league games this season and I have no doubt that Dimi was a key component in the side winning promotion.

"He is an honest professional who wants to better himself and I believe he will fit well into the squad at Coventry City. "To keep 25 clean sheets at any level is a fantastic achievement and I look forward to working with him in the near future."

City have also confirmed that they have given Donovan Simmonds a two year deal. The forward who played in the recent games at Leamington and Nuneaton was with Charlton Athletic.
