Coventry City have signed Sam McCallum.
The 17 year old is seen as a player for Jason Farndon's U23's and Andy Crabtree's U18's and is a left back.
He has been playing for Herne Bay in Kent and was at the Jamie Vardy Academy,
Jason Farndon told the club website about him: "At the start of the season we highlighted the fullback area as an option we needed to strenghthen and we are delighted to have brought in Sam.
"He was at the V9 Academy a few weeks back and he did well there and we are happy to have signed him to a three-year deal.
"Sam is an atheltic left-back and he’s an exciting project for us who we’re really going to push and help with his development.
"He is still only 17 and is eligible to play for the under-18s as well."
