City Reserves To Face Walsall

Coventry City Reserves will face Walsall in the final of the Birmingham Senior Cup. The Saddlers won 3-1 at Redditch United in the other semi-final tonight. Per Cederqvist scored twice with youngster Troy Deeney also on target.
City Reserves have played Walsall twice this season already. Both games were at Ryton and saw the Saddlers win 2-0 just before Christmas with City winning the second game 3-2 a month later.

The final is due to be played before May 5th at a venue to be arranged by Birmingham County FA.

Locally tonight, Nuneaton were held 0-0 at home by Hyde whilst Rugby Town lost 1-0 at home to Chippenham. There was better news as Bedworth won 3-2 at Dunstable Town.

In the Midland Alliance, former Sky Blue Ben Mackey scored for Leamington in a 3-0 win over Studley. There were home defeats for Atherstone beaten 3-2 by Rocester and Racing Club Warwick who lost 2-1 to Quorn.

Midland Combination Premier Division results saw Coventry Copsewood beaten 4-0 at home by Castle Vale and Massey Ferguson draw 0-0 at Pilkington.
