Coventry City's neighbours Leicester City have made a bid for Sammy Clingan, but have been firmly told the Northern Irish international is not for sale.

A report in The Belfast Telegraph said that Leicester made an enquiry about the 26 year old midfielder after he has apparently fallen from favour under Aidy Boothroyd.

Clingan has yet to feature in the Coventry team as regularly as he did last season leading to speculation that he might be one of those players who could be leaving the club, but the rejection of the Leicester goes some way to show that he does have a future at Coventry City.
