City Old Boys On International Duty

A number of former Coventry City personnel were on international duty tonight. 

Aron Gunnarsson (pictured below) captained Iceland in their 1-0 defeat    away to Cyprus.

Michael Mifsud captained Malta to a 2-0 defeat in Italy.

Former City loanee defender Gary Caldwell captained Scotland in their 1-1 draw with Ukraine.

Former City loanee Oliver Norwood was an 83rd minute substitute but Sammy Clingan was left on the bench for Michael O'Neil's Northern Ireland who drew 1-1 with Luxembourg in Belfast.

Former City loanee Danny Sturridge was a 69th minute substitute for England in their 1-1 draw with Ukrane.

Chris Coleman's Wales side crashed to a 6-1 defeat in Serbia.

Former City manager and former City defender/midfielder Dave Phillips were on media duty with Sky Sports News.
