Former Coventry City players Ben Turner and Aron Gunnarsson are off to Wembley after Cardiff City beat Crystal Palace on penalties in the second leg of the League Cup Semi-Final.
A Gardner own goal in the seventh minute gave Cardiff a 1-0 lead on the night to level the aggregate scores and send the match into extra time.
Despite the efforts of Gunnarsson who hit the bar with a header, there were no goals in extra time and the match went to penalties.
Cardiff scored three penalties from four spot kicks whilst Palace missed three penalties, scoring once, to send The Bluebirds to Wembley.
