City Not Finished In The Transfer Market?

Coventry City manager Mark Robins hinted that he is not finished in the transfer market.

Robins has said that City would only be bringing in players if he won the lottery but tonight told Geoff Foster of BBC Coventry & Warwickhire that he might have won the lottery and was hopeful that things could happen before the transfer window closes on Thursday night at 11pm.

Most City supporters, who have seen matches this season, will agree that that Sky Blues need defenders and Portsmouth defender Tom Davies has been linked as one possible target.

Davies was at Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers as a kid but was released before he was sixteen. He played for Team Northumbria at University before joining Fleetwood who then loaned him back to FC United of Manchester.

In 2015, Davies joined Accrington Stanley making 33 appearances and scoring once before moving to Portsmouth in 2016 for whom he has made 12 appearances.

Portsmouth midfielder and former City captain Carl Baker continues to be linked with the Sky Blues.
