Coventry City will be unseeded for the first round of the Carling Cup draw, following their relegation to League One.
Only Championship clubs are seeded in the opening round of the compeition whose final will be at Wembley Stadium on February 24th.
The draw, which will be spli into north and south sections as usual, takes place before the league fixtures are announced on June 18th.
