Coventry City might have to be drawn away or have matches moved to midweek next season if the Ricoh Arena stages Rugby League matches later this year.

The Ricoh Arena is a possible candidate to host Rugby League 2016 Four Nations matches, according to Press Association Sport.

England, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand would contest the marches, with a double-header on Saturday 29 October, which would mean that Coventry City would have to be given an away fixture that day or move the home game to midweek..

There will be further round-robin matches on 5 and 12 November, with the final on Saturday 19 November.

The venue hosts are expected to be announced in the next couple of months.
