Coventry City are looking at players in the Spanish League according to Ray Ranson speaking at the Fans Forum tonight.

Manager Chris Coleman saw the wealth of talent which exists in the Spanish top two divisions during his managerial stint in Spain and is keen to tap into that market.

Ranson also said that media speculation regarding certain players, Freddie Eastwood,Bocanegro from Fulham and Kasper Schmeichel are just three, are not a million miles off the mark and he expects to spend a couple of million on players next season and that investment in players will continue no matter what division City are in.

Ranson who spoke at the forum with Gary Hoffman and Joe Elliott, said that the future of City's Academy will be discussed at a board meeting on Wednesday.
