Coventry City Ladies have snatched the WPL Southern Division title with a 1-0 victory at Portsmouth
Craig Nicholls side travelled to the University Of Portsmouth needing nothing less than a victory to overhaul Gillingham and win the league.
The Sky Blues got off to a great start when from City's fourth corner, the Sky Blues long serving captain Natasha Lynch, scored from close range and it was still City leading 1-0 at the break.
In the second half, Natalie Brace hit the post but Lynch's goal was enough to give City the league title.
