Coventry City Ladies finished off their home campaign with a 4-0 win over Portsmouth

At Straford Town FC, the Sky Blues, needing a win to keep up their bid to win the WPL Southern League, started brightly with a kick from Sue Wood causing problems as did an Ashley Neville cross which was met by Helen Dermody and well saved by the Pompey keeper at the second attempt.

Portsmouth went close with a shot which Sue Wood gathered on the line at full stretch and had shouts for a penalty after Sarah Kempson went  down, waved away by the referee.

In the second half, City took the lead when Lucy Quinn was dispossessed and on the counter-attack, City scored the opener through Nikki Miles in the 48th minutes and then scored a second from the other fullback Annabel Johnson in the 69th minute.

Hayley Ladd added a third in the 76th minute and Destiny Toussaint hit the fourth with eleven minutes left for a good win for the Sky Blues.
