Coventry City Ladies attacking defender/midfielder Milly Durrant has announced her retirement from football.

A former Wales player, Durrant had been with the club for a couple of seasons, helping them into the Women's Premier League and then last season consolidating their position in what is now seen as the top flight of Women's Football, due to the WSL being an invitational league, dependent on money,

Milly, who said the team spirit at City was the best she had ever experienced at any club, said: "I've got really into running/triathlon since my ultra marathon and have taken up golf and back into tennis, and with work commitments and more travel, have decided I just can't commit this year so time to move on."
