According to The Mirror, Coventry City have been hit with a transfer embargo.
The cash strapped Sky Blues has planned to off-load Marlon King and Clive Platt as a way of paying some of their creditors but according to the paper, the moves to Cardiff and Norwich were scrapped due to the club being under a Football League transfer embargo.
Neither CCFC or the Football League have offered a comment on the situation.
