City Down To 23rd

Coventry City are down to 23rd in the Championship table after the 1-0 defeat to Millwall on Tuesday night.

The Sky Blues dropped a place due to Portsmouth beating Crystal Palace 2-1 and Pompey going ahead due to a better goal difference. Both City and Portsmouth are five points behind Bristol City who drew 1-1 at home to West Ham. A result which means that both team were not relegated tonight.

Already relegated Doncaster Rovers, who visited the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, drew 0-0 at Middlesbrough.

Reading were promoted to the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest whilst second placed Southampton won 3-1 at Peterborough.

Birmingham stay fourth after a 1-1 draw at Ipswich, whilst fifth placed Blackpool beat Leeds 1-0. Sixth placed Cardiff beat Derby 2-0.

Hull are back up to eighth with a 3-1 win over Barnsley whilst ninth place Brighton came back to draw 2-2 with Watford.

Elsewhere, Leicester drew 0-0 with Burnley.
