City Down A Place

Coventry City have dropped to sixteenth place in the table after Ipswich's 5-2 win at Hull City tonight. Also in the Championship,Former City loanee Stephen Bywater performed heroics for Derby in a 2-1 win at Norwich.

The result lifts the Rams back to the top of the table. Elsewhere, Sheffield Wednesday drew 1-1 at home to Plymouth.
Locally, Nuneaton Borough lost 2-0 at Redditch United in a Conference North fixture. Bedworth's game at Willenhall Town was postponed but Leamington played in the Midland Alliance and went down to a 3-1 defeat to Boldmere St Michaels. Ben Mackey was on target for the Brakes. Stratford Town thrashed Coalville Town 5-0.

Atherstone's game at Friar Lane and Epworth was postponed as was the cross town derby between Massey Ferguson and Coventry Sphinx. Coventry Copsewood's game against Pershore Town at Allard Way was also called off.
