Coventry City Director Leonard Brody has hit back at suggestions from Marlon King's agent that his clent had not agreed to sign a new deal at Coventry City when King and those needed to complete the contract signing are back from their holidays.

Mr Brody has tweeted: "Ken & Andy have verbal agreement from both agent and Marlon as stated. Not sure where the unsubstantiated Sky story came from.

"Marlon has agreed verbally as we stated, perhaps Sky was referring to the fact that contract is still to come. He has decided to stay as stated in the paper today, Marlon told both Andy and Ken was staying.

"Just want all CCFC fans to be clear. This is verbal commitment. We still need to get the document signed when Marlon gets back.".
