According to Shrewsbury Town's official website, a pre-season game against Coventry City has been pencilled in at Shrewsbury Town's new Oteley Road home.

Gary Peters told Shrewsweb: "It's been a very difficult time for us with pre-season games as we haven't been able to get into any stage of planning. "It revolves around when we can have our home games and once we have sorted them then we can plan our away games and when we can fit them in.

"We've already got a game arranged with Coventry City at the new stadium but it's proving hard to arrange the game with Manchester City."

No date has been announced for this game at Shrewsbury's New Meadow home at Oteley Road which holds 10,000 but will be restricted for the opening game as the Ricoh Arena was.
