Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is glad that Adam Armstrong and Ryan Kent were back from international duty early.
The pair came back from their England outings on Tuesday and speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, he said:“I’d have to say that when they have been away on previous international breaks, coming back on a Thursday and not training, just cooling down, and then training on a Friday they’ve looked a bit lethargic, a bit leggy, not as sharp and as bright.
“Thankfully they came back on a Tuesday this time which is a positive for us that we have got them back a bit earlier to enable us to integrate them back into the squad and into the way we work. And hopefully they will be ready, the full 100 per cent come Saturday.”
