City Back Up To Eighth

Coventry City are back up to eighth in the League One table after their 2-1 win at Scunthorpe United.

City are two points behind AFC Bournemouth who were beaten 2-1 at home by leaders Doncaster Rovers, who stay twelve points clear of the Sky Blues.

Doncaster are three points clear of second placed Sheffield United who drew 0-0 with MK Dons.

Third placed Swindon drew 2-2 with Walsall whilst Tranmere moved back up to fourth with a 1-0 win over Oldham.

Yeovil who earned a 0-0 draw from their trek to Hartlepool are fifth with Brentford who lost 2-0 at Carlisle in sixth, some five points clear of the Sky Blues.

At the bottom, Portsmouth beat Bury 2-0 whilst 19th placed Colchester who travel to the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night lost 2-1 at home to Crewe.

Crawley drew 0-0 with Notts County, Preston beaten Stevenage 2-0 and Leyton Orient won 2-0 at Shrewsbury.
