City Back In The Bottom Three

Coventry City are back in the bottom three after today's results.

The Sky Blues were pegged back to a 2-2 draw at home to Peterborough United this afternoon but in the evening game, Bristol City moved out of the bottom three when Chris Wood scored the only goal of the game with a 55th minute penalty after Jon Stead was fouled by Lee Camp in a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest.

City are a point behind Bristol City whom they face at Ashton Gate on Monday afternoon but are five points ahead of second from bottom Portsmouth who snatched a late 2-2 draw at Southampton and seven points ahead of Doncaster Rovers who lost 4-0 at Leicester City.

Millwall are five points clear of City after a 2-0 home win over Hull City.

Former City defender Ben Turner scored for Cardiff City in a 2-0 win at Middlesbrough whilst Birmingham beat Palace 3-1 and Derby drew 0-0 with Ipswich.
