City Awards

Coventry City staged their own annual end of season dinner tonight at the Arena. Around 750 attended with guests included Gary Hopkins.

The main part of the evening was the award ceremony which was preceded by an inspirational speech from Iain Dowie.



Andy Marshall who also has won the South Wales and City Supporters Club Player of the Year added the CCFC Player Of The Year to his tally.

The Players Player Of The Year was keenly contested and the winner was Marcus Hall.




Iain Dowie and his backroom staff agreed with the City supporters choice of Isaac Osbourne for the SBY Young Player Of The Year award and named the midfielder as their Young Player Of The Year, the second time that Osbourne has won this award.




On to Goals and Top scorer was Dele Adebola.




Goal of the season went to Michael Mifsud for that strike at Sheffield Wednesday.




Coventry City Ladies were also represented with Natasha Lynch, daughter of former Coventry boxer Colin receiving their Player Of The Year.



The 1987 FA Cup winning team and 1967 Promotion side were also honoured.
