Welcome to Covsupport News Service's coverage of Coventry City's friendly at Hinckley United this afternoon.

Coventry City: Westwood, Wright, Hall, Grandison, Turner, Bell, Osbourne, Gunnarsson, Fox, Best, Eastwood.
Subs: Konstantopolous, Doyle, Cain, Clarke, Jeffers, Walker.

Hinkley include former Skyblues Stuart Giddings, Andy Hall, Andy Gooding, Ange Lourougnon and Matty West.

Westwood has injured his left knee during the warm up and has been replaced before the kick off by Konstantololous.

It is a fine sunny afternoon with some cloud cover.

4 minutes, Bell wins a corner, cleared by the Hinkley defence.
First team Steve Harrison is doing far more of the touchline talking than manager Chris Coleman.

Fox is making some lovely passes from the left side of midfield.

11 minutes gone and a trademark Gunnarsson long throw in to Best, but his header goes wide from six yards out.

14 minutes into the game and the score is 0-0.

15 minutes. Stuart Gooding makes a break into 'City's box and goes down after a Turner tackle, the referee waves play on, no penalty.

17 minutes. Fox over hits a corner, Hinkley clear, but not for long.

!8 minutes and 'City get another corner, this time Gooding clears after Tuner and then Grandison head the ball toward the goal.

23 minutes. Gooding crosses from the right only to see Conor Franklin half hit his shot.

24 minutes. GOAL.
Another long throw from Gunnarsson from the right touchline onto which Leon Best pounces at the far post to score. Hinkley 0 Coventry City 1.

27 minutes have Dan Dillon limp off after a crunching tackle.

28 minutes and Konstantopolous flaps at a Hinkley corner, but the ball stays out.

The 'City fans outnumber the home fans. The attendance is estimated at 1000.

33 minutes. Best beats the offside trap to win a corner. For the second time in the match, Fox over hits his his corner which goes straight out for a goal kick.

Coleman sends Clarke, Walker and Jeffers to warm up.

38 minutes. Gooding, who has been Hinkley's best player so far, has a tame shot straight at Konstantopolous.

The referee for the game is Mick Murphy.

Half time: Hinkley 0 Coventry City 1.

There have been no changes made to the 'City line up by Coleman at half time. Matty West has been replaced for Hinkley.

48 minutes. Best impeded and wins a free kick. Fox takes it short to Eastwood and he passes to Gunnarsson whose shot from 20 yards goes into the Hinkley 'keeper's arms.

52 minutes. Eastwood heads over the bar from 14 yards from a Fox cros from the right.
Cain getting ready to come on.

55 minutes. Wright has a low drive saved.

56 minutes. Cain is on for Fox.

57 minutes. A Gunnarsson free kick finds Best, who sticks the ball intot he net, but he ruled to be offside.

58 minutes. Konstantopolous is forced to push a Franklin shot over the bar for a Hinkley corner.

67 minutes. Gunnarsson is taken off to be replaced by Walker and Bell is pelaced by Doyle.

68 minute. Grandison goes on a surging forward run and is fouled. Another free kick goes to waste.

70 minutes. Jordan Clarke is on for Stephen Wright.

72 minutes. Best wins another corner, cleared by Hinkley.

75 minutes. Shaun Jeffers on for Best . Hinckley replace Andy Hall.

76 minutes,. Cain beats three men to win a corner, which Grandison manages to head wide.

79 minutes, Gooding replaced.

80 minutes. Osbourne crosses and the ball is headed out by Giddings for a 'City corner. The Hinkley 'keeper flaps at the ball but Jeffers cannot take advantage and stabs the ball wide of the goal.

'City are once again struggling to beat the off side trap, but Eastwood attacks again only to win a corner.

Goal: Jeffers takes the corner from the right and Eastwood heads the ball into the net from 4 yards. Hinkley 0 Coventry City 2.

Final score: Hinkley 0 Coventry City 2 (Best, Eastwood).
