Coventry City are aiming to beat the record attendance for a Johnstones Paint Trophy game not in the final at Wembley Stadium.
The Football League Trophy (JPT) record crowd for a non-final game is 29,901 for Southampton versus MK Dons game set in 2010.
City have so far sold 26,109 tickets for the First Leg of the Northern Area Semi-Final against Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday February 5th at 7.45pm.
Tickets are on sale priced at £5 for everyone.
