Citizen Award For Joe Elliott

Coventry City Director Joe Elliott has been awarded a Coventry Good Citizen Award.

Mr Elliott has been involved with Coventry City since 1985 and works anything up eighteen hours a day on the club's behalf.

He worked hard to ensure that the club continues to play Championship football and is involved in many functions of the club including the Coventry City Diamond Club and the Supporter Consultation Group.

Away from football, Joe also works hard for the Transport Museum, as a governor at the All Saints Church Of England primary school whilst his charities include Baby Lifeline, NSPCC, The Royal Institute For The Blind, Myton Hospice and Coundon Care Centre.

Joe was presented with his award by Lord Mayor Jack Harrison on Tuesday at the Council House.
