Coventry City defender Chris Stokes has said that he is looking forward to returning to Forest Green Rovers tomorrow.
Stokes joined City from the club who were then in the National League and he said to City's Press Office: “I was there for nearly five years so played a lot of games for the club and I thought I did well down there so hopefully I’ll have a good rapport with the fans.
“They bought some good players in January. I think they realised that they needed to reinvest into the squad. The team that we play tomorrow will be harder than the team we played recently in the season.
“It was a game we dominated last time we met.
“There was only one mistake, which cost us the game. We probably should have won the game. We had Newport as well, it’s not just been Forest Green.
“We’ve made some silly mistakes which have cost us and we probably went into those games a bit complacent thinking we’re going to walk all over these because we had such a good start to the season.
“I think we need to go to Forest Green and give them some respect and we are going to go into the game, turn up, start fast and make sure we win the game.”
