Charter Standard for City Ladies

Coventry City Ladies have been awarded Charter Standard status by the Football Association for their committment to their stanard of training and player development.

The Women's Premier League Northern Division club were presented with the award by John King of Phoenix Rover group. Mr King is a major club sponsor who also hosted the presentation.

Also presenting the award to reserve team defender Sharlene Shackleton was Joe Elliott on behalf of Coventry City FC.

Coventry City Ladies Chairman Dave Singleton  who was present along with the club's President Brian Ellis said: "Charter Standard status is an integral part of the club's development and I like to thank everyone involved for helping the club achieve this. "
