Coventry City Goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook said that the players are taking the EFL Trophy seriously as they want the City support to have a great day out at Wembley on April 2nd.
Charles-Cook made two saves in the penalties which followed a 1-1 draw to send City into the Semi-Finals and told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: “We are taking this competition seriously because we want everyone to have a great day at Wembley.”
“When they scored we knew we just had to keep going and I thought we upped the tempo a lot more and looked the better side.
The character was good and we need to carry that into league games now.”
