Cantwell Shunned by Sky Blues

Coventry City were accused of shunning former manager Noel Cantwell today. As City supporters stood waiting patiently for a minute's silence, both sides and referee Andy Legg calmly got on with the game which finished 1-1 completely failing to mark the passing of the only City manager ever to manage a Coventry City team in competitive European football.

Said one supporter: "This is a disgrace and a total lack of respect for all that Noel Cantwell did for this club. "His death was well documented in the programme,so there was no excuse that the club did not have time to mark Mr Cantwell's death."
