Cameron To Lose His Place

Nathan Cameron could lose his place in the Coventry City team for Saturday's game at Scunthorpe United.

Cameron, had a poor game by his standards on Saturday in the defeat to Swndon Town and could be replaced by William Edjenguele.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Lee Carsley said; "The thing with Nathan is that he’s still quite young for a defender and I think he does struggle with confidence at times and it’s important that when you think players are like that you bring them out of the firing line and protect them, so that’s probably one we’ll have to keep an eye on.

"But he’s done well and with Nathan in the team we’ve kept more clean sheets than not.

"We’ve not defended great at times but we’ve been effective so it’s something we’re aware of.

"All players have good and bad games but sometimes it just stands out a bit more when it’s in the middle of the pitch."
