Broad Lane For The New Stadium?

The Coventry Observer are amongst those claiming that the old Woodlands School on Broad Lane in Coventry could be a site for Coventry City's owners  to build a football ground.

The site became vacant in 2016 when Woodlands Academy merged with Tile Hill Wood school and was originally wanted by the Sky Blues for a new academy base before Wasps finally pulled out of their plans for the Alan Higgs Centre due to a lack of cash.

It is understood that the property agents appointed by Sisu with regard to who is involved, have continued to book mark this site with Sisu claiming that the Council have been slow to respond.

The site at CV5 7FF which is owned by Coventry City Council,  is certainly big enough for a modest sized stadium, despite being in a residental area.

Tile Hill Station is nearby but road links would have to be improved to handle match day traffic
