Bothroyd First Englishman To Score In J-League Since Lineker

Former Coventry City striker Jay Bothroyd has become the first English player to scored in Japan's J-League since 1994.

Bothroyd, whom City took from Arsenal, scored for Jubilo Iwata in a 2-1 win over Urawa Reds and became the first Englishman to score in that league since Gary Lineker for Nagoya Grampus Eight.
